Events @ The Centre
A group operating under the guidance of Elsea Park Community Trust as volunteers
The Majority of activities at The Centre are run by local individuals and clubs who hire the venue running classes aimed at a combination of mixed or exclusive age groups. We do however have a group of Trust Volunteers – they all give their time and effort to bring our community together for activities to instil community spirit.
They host a number of events throughout the year such as Jumble sales, BBQs, quiz nights, Halloween parties, valentines disco, Barn dance, New Year’s Eve party 80s and 90s nights and more.
If you would like to become a volunteer please contact the Trusts Office on 01778 423062.

Urban Beach ’26
A Summer to Remember
We’ve loved seeing so many families, friends, and neighbours come together and make the most of Urban Beach ’26. From relaxing in the sunshine to joining in with our entertainment and activities, it’s been fantastic to see Cookes Field brought to life and enjoyed by so many people in our community.
Your smiles, laughter, and support have made our first Urban Beach truly special, and we hope it provided a chance to relax, have fun, and create some great summer memories close to home.
As we look back on the experience, we’d really appreciate your feedback. What did you enjoy most? Was there anything you’d like to see more of, and what would you love us to include if Urban Beach returns next year?
Thank you for being part of a fantastic summer and helping to make Urban Beach ’26 such a memorable community event.
